Heleborus Niger

Also known as ‘Christmas Rose’, this fully hardy perennial flowers from January to April, producing white, bowl shaped flowers.
Eventual height of 30 cm with 45cm spread can be expected

Rudbeckia Goldstrum

A classic shrub bed plant, instantly recognizable for its yellow daisy flowers with black centres, provides long lasting colour in late summer and autumn
Height of 2-3ft can be expected

Agapanthus Blue

This compact hardy is ideal for planting in containers on the patio due to its compact size
It produces trumpet-shaped, very dark blue flowers in mid to late summer.
Height of 45cm with spread of 30cm can be expected.

Phlox paniculata

This reliable garden plant flowers between July and October, and can be bought in a range of colours, including blue, pink and white.
Height 2-4ft with spread of 4ft can be expected

Aubrieta Purple

This evergreen produces masses of large, single rich purple flowers in early spring, which are excellent for a bold spring display.
Suitable for rockeries, walls borders, edging paths, planters, window boxes etc.
Spread of 30-38cm (12-15in) can be expected

Geranium Johnson’s Blue

Flowering from May to August, with lots of large, dark-veined, lavender-blue flowers,
this is a superb plant for an informal border where it looks particularly well when teamed with old fashioned roses.

This low growing summer flowering perennial produces lily like flowers and can be bought in pink yellow, white and bicolors.

Sedum Autumn joy

This reliable clump forming herbaceous perennial, with it deciduous silver tinted fleshy leaves
is a late summer flowering plant which also attracts butterflies. It produces lots of pink flowers in late summer / autumn.

Astilbe Fanal

An easy way to add beauty and grace to your garden is to include Astilbe Fanal, an attractive summer flowering plant with plume like blooms.
Can be planted in moist ground.

Crocosmia  George Davidson

This clump forming plant, with sword like leaves, flowers in summer (July to September) with lovely golden flowers.
The plant is happiest planted in the border but it will grow in a large pot if it has a steady supply of water.

Hosta Aureomarginata

Common name ‘Plantain lily’, this striking hosta with variegated deep green leaves, produces masses of lilac flowers in summer (July to August).
It’s ideal for planting in moist conditions
